The balance everyone trusts and nobody can explain
Ask most owners how much cash they have, and they open their banking app. The balance is correct. But it does not explain anything. Which customers paid? Which supplier payments went out? Which entries are already in the books, and which are still sitting in a statement nobody has checked?
When bank entries live outside the books, someone has to match them by hand and explain every difference. That is the month-end burden most businesses know well.
Matched, confirmed, final
Falcon's Money part takes you from a list of bank entries to entries that are matched, confirmed and recorded. Three words do the work:
- Matched. Each bank entry is matched with an invoice, bill or other record already in Falcon's books.
- Confirmed. A suggested match is only a suggestion. It becomes final when a person confirms it. This is where the control is.
- Final. Confirmed matches become part of the books, and your cash position now has an explanation, not just a total.
We do not sell “automatic matching” as magic. We are clear about this. Falcon suggests, and a person confirms.
Why the confirm step is worth it
The confirm step might look like a delay. In practice it is what makes the result trustworthy. A match confirmed by a named person at a known time is proof. A match applied silently by software is a guess with no owner.
And because Money uses the same books as Sell, Buy and Books, bank entries are matched with the sales and purchases your business really recorded, not with a separate list kept just for matching.
From “here is the bank balance” to “here is where every rupee went”. That is what the Money part is for, and it is what an owner really wants to know.
What the owner sees
Once bank entries are matched and confirmed, “how much cash do we have?” becomes a question Falcon AI can answer from the real books. The owner gets the balance and the explanation together.
The takeaway
A bank balance tells you where you are. Matching tells you how you got there and what is still pending. If your system only gives you the balance, every month-end starts with someone doing the matching by hand.
